31-year-old HIV-positive man recently became the first Egyptian to disclose publicly, Al Jazeera English reports. To begin the process of reducing stigma, Magid (who declined to give his last name) disclosed his HIV status at a press conference in Egypt on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of AIDS.
